Scott Brownrigg's Cardiff office wins AJ100 Regional Award category for Wales

We are delighted to announce that Scott Brownrigg's Cardiff office has won the AJ100 Regional Award category for Wales.

The award, which looks at HR issues, including job satisfaction, working environment, culture, benefits and staff turnover is testament to the success of the office, led by Director, Neil MacOmish.

It also acknowledges the high standard of work being produced by the office, which includes the recently completed Ynysyfro Reservoir House and Newport Children's Centre. The team has also successfully secured Planning Permission for the £40m Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen (Oak Tree Community College) in Bridgend, potentially, the first BREEAM 'Outstanding' High School within the UK and part of the 'Gateway to the Valleys' initiative.

The AJ results highlight that the Scott Brownrigg Cardiff team "is very content", with one respondent commenting that the "workload is interesting and diverse" and that, crucially, the practice "looks after its staff’s interests".

The Cardiff office is also a member of the Low Carbon Research Institute, and is one of only four practices in Wales to partner Cardiff University in a combined three year research programme, which addresses sustainability and low carbon design.

Neil MacOmish, Director of the Cardiff office said:
“This award is testament to the value we place on looking after our employees and on the quality of their design work; I am incredibly proud of my talented team. This award reflects their level of commitment and hard work".
